Our Virtual Estate Planning Process
5 simple steps to protect your family — all online, all convenient, all flat-fee
Estate Planning Without the Hassle
We’ve designed our entire process around one goal: make estate planning as simple, stress-free, and transparent as possible. No office visits. No endless meetings. No confusing paperwork. Just a clear 5-step process that takes 4-6 weeks from start to finish.
Here’s exactly how it works:
Our 5-Step Process
Step 1: Watch the Free Webinar
Start here. Our free webinar covers estate planning basics — what documents you need, why they matter, and how trusts compare to wills. Takes 30 minutes, no obligation. This gets you up to speed before we talk.
Step 2: Schedule Your Design Meeting
We’ll have a 45-60 minute conversation (virtual, at your convenience) to discuss your family, your assets, your goals, and your concerns. This is where we learn what matters to you and what “protection” means in your situation.
Step 3: We Draft Your Documents
Based on your design meeting, our attorney drafts your custom will, trust, powers of attorney, healthcare directive, or whatever documents fit your plan. You’re not getting a template — this is tailored to you.
Step 4: You Review Everything
Access your completed documents online, review at your own pace, and send us questions via email. We’ll clarify any sections, make revisions if needed, and ensure you understand and approve everything before signing.
Step 5: Mobile Notary Signing
Our mobile notary comes to your home (or location of your choice) with witnesses and completes the signing in 15-30 minutes. We file the documents, provide you certified copies, and you’re done.
From free webinar to signed documents: 4-6 weeks. Full transparency. One flat fee.
Why Virtual Estate Planning Works Better
Traditional estate planning requires office visits, rigid schedules, and time away from your family. Here’s why our virtual model is better:
- No office visits. We meet you where you are — home, office, or coffee shop. Convenience matters.
- Flexible scheduling. Meetings at 7am? 7pm? Weekends? No problem. Your schedule, not ours.
- Lower overhead = lower cost. No office rent to pay, so we pass the savings to you with our flat-fee pricing model.
- Statewide coverage. Whether you’re in Charlotte, Greenville, Wilmington, or anywhere in NC and SC, we serve you the same way.
- Transparent communication. Email, phone, video — whatever works for you. We’re accessible and responsive.

Common Questions About Our Process
Can we do everything virtually?
Almost everything. Design meetings are virtual video calls. Document review is online. Signing is in-person with our mobile notary (required by law), but we come to you. See our detailed signing process to learn exactly what to expect.
What if I have questions after signing?
You can reach out anytime via email or phone. We typically respond within 24 hours. Your estate plan is an ongoing thing — we’re here if you need changes or have questions later.
What if I need revisions before signing?
No problem. That’s what the review phase is for. Send us your questions and requests for changes, and we’ll revise. There’s no extra charge — revisions are included in our flat-fee pricing.
Do we need to work together if we’re in different states?
If you and your spouse are in different NC/SC locations, we can still work with you. Our mobile notary can coordinate signing separately or at the same time — whatever works.
What’s included in the flat fee?
Design meeting, document drafting, unlimited revisions, virtual review, mobile notary signing, filing, and certified copies. One price. No surprises. Learn why our flat-fee approach benefits you compared to hourly billing.
